Exciting New Stuff

well finally my new cards arrived this morning which i was pleased to see great images great quality and updates on all info which was great to see,

they look pretty mint don't they,

well anyway back to more new updates as some of you know i have just updated to my new lighting kit the Elichrome rangers which are treating me well already with a quick test shoot with adam jones ( Moto-x rider )

well we set off to the apex track in worcester with a full list of riding shots and profile shots

in mind but due to some problems adam was having with the bike we were unable to get

the shots that we needed, so I thought i would try out the new rangers on location, it was

a pretty cloudy and dark day so we took to the top of the track to try some images of Adam

and his MX bike luckily he had his amazing fiancee lucy which you would have seen her in

my work! she helped out loads during the day,

but hopefully we will get together again soon to get the shots that we need =D

Also i thought i would add in a photo from a shoot with adam and lucy from last week i

wish them the best of luck with everything =D

Things are starting to look up with the devloment of my kit coming soon which Im real excited to be doing and now booked up for bout 10-15 weeks of fun with a amazing group of people on board there's not much more I can ask from them all :-)

New kit new start

Well as soon of you may know I'm selling some of my kit at the moment and upgradeing to what I have been after for a while now and I think it will benifit my work and more importantly the photos for you guys so I'll update this when I get the stuff but for now I just love this at the moment

new set up

Finally got my new set up up and running which I have been thinking about for the last few weeks,

So I thought i would give it a try with last weeks shoot with Hanna Harte which was a good laugh as usual with her

Ideas come at the best times

As we all know insperation can come at some weird times of the day and in the weirdest ways but I think this is what just makes us who we are manic photographers and with it must be said a slight case of the crazy to get are views across in a single or series of images,
This ideas can come at the breakfest table with a cup of coffee ( idea was born for running on water ) or at 4 am when every body should be asleep but were up all excited about the prospects of a idea that we can create :-) ( when I finally decided on the project for the show in June ) but when ever or where ever we get these ideas we should follow on them if not for public viewing for yourself and this is the case with the latest project I have set out to do with a series of images that are in the pipe lines as I write this, that will be presented in June at the cursterd factory in Digbeth Birmingham,
when we came up with the idea of the gallery about a year ago it was a real shock to the system but a good one been able to make this possible will be just amazing experience for myself and the other involved such as Ben Turner ( sport and fashion Photographer with a eletic style will be one to look out for ) Pal Palmer ( with great design methods in the work she creates, is one of the ones I'm looking foward to viewing myself ) to Jon Edwards ( a film based photographer with images that just grab you with a sence of magic to them )

I hope that every one in June can make a short trip to pop in to give us a look and if you want to talk to us about the images we will all be there pottering around coming up with ideas for what's next how can we make this better

magazine mock up shoot

we have been asked to shoot a magazine cover for a Magazine of our choice so i chose to do

Dazed and Confused and after spending some time in choosing a model and getting my ideas down, i got the shoot done and

dusted o

n friday the 15th of jan ( this year is going quick already )

so we started the day off with a short meeting with our model lucy who i have worked with a few times in the past which may be why i chose her for this job, well we got to work with a few ideas

and as far as i feel from the day we got all the things that i needed so now its time to edit ill post the images up when they are finshed tmw =D

D & C shoot day 1

Right then I decided for uni I would try a bit of a new style for fashion work as I have been reavlating my work and think it needs more of a buzz to it and edge so I started looking in to dazed and confused and other work such as that!
So from there I took it on board to start a new project where I can try to show a creative side to my work and what it means to me ?

First shoot is a uni based project for dazed and confused magazine so here is the start of it, I'll try to get some images of the shoot up shortly when I have them ready. But this is the start of the make up session with hanna





Apart from all that rambling and fashion work I have a bunch of new projects on beauty which I'm slightly more excited about them
